Yes. . . We saw Kurt Bestor on Friday night at the Bountiful park for FREE!! It was so great and we both really enjoyed it. We had to bring our chairs 4 hours early to save a good spot. There were lots of people there. Kurt is a wonderful pianist and I'm so glad that he shares his talent with the world. I feel that he has a very bright and happy sound to his playing. You know he enjoys it as well just by watching him play. Kurt is mostly known for his Christmas music (he has awesome Christmas music) and he only plays Christmas music in its season. BUT he made a loop hole for a couple Christmas songs hehe. He played Bring a Torch Jeanette Isabella because Jeanette Isabella was a Russian ice-skater that got to carry the Olympic torch in her country. Loop hole number one. Loop hole number two was that he played Greensleeves instead of What Child Is This. Haha! So funny. He played some wonderful songs that felt so beautiful. He played a version of a Bountiful Sunrise (meaning he was making it up on the spot) and it was so beautiful! You could close your eyes and see the sunrise with his music. He is so talented! And of course his encore was Prayer of the Children. The song he is well known for. That is such a beautiful song :) so if you have no idea who Kurt Bestor is and you like piano music, I highly suggest you look him up on youtube. It was a grand concert and I'm glad we went :)
